Questions guests ask

Where is Amberdale Estate?

Just off the N6, leaving Komani toward Aliwal North, about 1.5 km from the town centre. Google Maps places the pin at Amberdale 1, Komani, 5320. Madeira Mountain is the view.

How do I book?

Book on NightsBridge. That page shows which units are open and the rate for your dates. You can also WhatsApp or phone 073 118 5455, or email admin@amberdale.co.za.

Does load shedding cut the power?

The estate runs a solar system that supplies most of its electricity, so stays are set up to continue through municipal power cuts. Guests are asked to use power carefully.

Is the water safe to drink?

Yes. The estate is off the municipal water supply. Water comes from boreholes, is tested, and is published as safe to drink.

Who is the stay for?

Families are welcome, including in the apartments and studios. The estate also suits work trips, sport, family visits and a quiet night off the road. Contractors and backpackers often take the twin rooms.
