Q: How does the septic system work?

The estate uses septic tanks. Flush only toilet paper. Do not flush wet wipes or sanitary products.

The units sit close together and the area is quiet, so sound carries. Keep noise down after 19:00. Silence is from 22:00 until 07:00. For safety and quiet, guests do not have visitors after 22:00.

Housekeeping and laundry

Daily room servicing is available. Tell management in advance if you do not want the room serviced. Laundry can be arranged. Phone for collection and the price. The price is not published here.

Wi-Fi, TV and Netflix

Wi-Fi is free. The login is on a photo frame inside the unit. If it fails, phone management. Every unit has a Smart TV. Guests may use the estate Netflix account, or their own streaming accounts. Sign out before you leave.

Power

Solar supplies most of the estate’s electricity and is there so a stay can continue through load shedding. Please use power carefully.

Water and toilets

Water comes from boreholes, is tested, and is safe to drink. Report leaks. The estate is not on municipal sewerage. It uses septic tanks. Flush only toilet paper. Do not flush wet wipes, sanitary products, or anything else.

Parking

Parking is on the estate and at the guest’s own risk. A truck over 14 tons parks at a different entrance. The team directs the driver at check-in.
